Reclast®

Reclast is a once-a-year IV medication that binds to your bones to treat postmenopausal osteoporosis. Along with daily calcium and vitamin D, it helps strengthen your bones and protects them from fracture for an entire year. It’s also more comprehensive than other treatments, even protecting hip and spine bones. Given through an intravenous (IV) directly into your bloodstream, it bypasses your digestive system so you won’t have to wait to eat or remain upright for 30 minutes as with other treatments. Reclast is offered in our offices and the treatment takes only 15 minutes, then you can resume your normal activities.
